Orthoralix 8500

....simply better!

The Orthoralix 8500 is a new panoramic system by Gendex with innovative technology and maximum reliability with a design tailored to the major requirements of dental diagnostics.

The Orthoralix 8500 comes in two designs:

  • Film: To create panoramic images of the entire arch with conventional film/screen technology.
  • Digital (DDE): For direct digital imaging with a CCD sensor.

Multimotor panoramic system
The Orthoralix 8500 panoramic system uses up to 4 motors to generate a panoramic geometry that precisely follows the patient's morphology. A complete and precise representation of the anatomical structure of the arch is obtained. panoramic projections can be created with a constant magnification factor and optimum diagnostic quality.

Multimotor panoramic system

Panoramic systems use different methods to generate a radiograph. Each system uses its own specific technologies for a panoramic geometry that precisely portrays the entire maxillofacial complex with precise detail and no overlapping.

Innovative technology
The multimotor panoramic system of the Orthoralix 8500, the result of more than three years of Gendex's experience in panoramic technology can transport the imaging system with complete freedom on the horizontal plane. The best possible representation of the imaging slice is obtained with reference to shape and thickness. The reduced deviation of the x-ray beam from the ideal orthogonality allows an almost perfect reproduction of the entire arch area. This feature of the Orthoralix 8500 enables the creation of high-quality, information-rich panoramic tomograms.

Digital or film

The Orthoralix 8500 gives you a choice. Regardless of whether you want to use the digital image immediately or save it for later, the Orthoralix 8500 offers a design tailored to your needs.

Digital
Enables direct, digital panoramic imaging at a much reduced x-ray dose than conventional x-ray film with immediate display on a monitor. The display, diagnosing, archiving and administration of digital x-rays is quicker and easier, thereby markedly improving efficiency.

Film
The design for conventional film-screen technique can be easily adapted at any time to digital imaging with the Gendex DDE sensor or the Gendex DenOptix storage phosphor plate system.

Patient positioning system

A system with three laser light beam localisers allows you to precisely position the patient according to the specific anatomical standard parameters: mid-sagittal plane, the Frankfurt horizontal plane and slice position in the anterior region.

The chin rest with an integral bite block and handle ensures stable and comfortable positioning that is held by the two lateral temple supports.

Easy and reliable

Motorised telescope system
The positioning of the patient is comfortably supported by the completely motorised telescopic design. A compact, attractive design pleasantly fits into any dental practice.

Direct control
The Orthoralix 8500 is equipped with two on-board control units that enable easy and reliable patient positioning and equipment operation. No additional steps with a connected computer are needed. The first control panel on the image receiver unit is for quick selection of the exposure parameters, and the second control panel on the motorised device column holds all the elements for positioning the patient.

Connect to any computer
The digital design of the Orthoralix 8500 DDE is configured to enable direct connection to an existing local network (LAN). A special interface card does not have to be installed in the computer. The direct network connection allows the recorded image to be immediately displayed on any connected computer. Time is saved, improving efficiency and productivity in the practice.
